Tanjung Karang in the district of Donggala, Palu, Central Sulawesi. This place is within 37 km from Palu, and 60 Km from Lore Lindu National Park. Donggala is a small village. From the airport in Palu, about 1 hour. This is supposed to be one of the driest places in Indonesia, because in 2 weeks only 1 time it rains.
To go to Tanjung Karang you can use a motorcycle taxi driver, cars charter and Public transfortasi, approximately 1 hour drive.

Tanjung Karang Diving point :
House reef: Depth range up to 36m, but most dives of about 15 to 20m.
You can see a large group Sweetlips, fusiliers and snappers congregate around the reef block. Look closer and you’ll find lots of nudibranchs, anemones, and flatworms. There is always some anemone fish, anemone fish especially spinecheek (Premas biaculeatus), leaffish, pegasus, fish eagles and a few ghost pipefishes.

Coral blocks on the sand with hidden animals like fish leaffish pipes, moray eels sometimes ghosts. In the more sandy areas there is almost always large rays. Sometimes Blacktip reef sharks and groups who really big parrotfish bumphead visit this area.
Pasi End, Northern Pasi, Pasi Kawe, and South Atolls: This place is situated in the south of Donggala, about 30-40 minutes by boat, near Towale. Depth ranges from more than 30m – about 8m. In this place we always see and Blacktip reef shark Whitetip from very close. Coral reefs are well covered with corals, Acropora and many whip corals. in the Pacific Kawe can find many nudibranchs, see the spawning squid, and yellow Frogfish.
Stone suya, Enu I and II: This place is situated in the north Donggala on the other side from inlet, about 30-40 minutes by boat. The depth ranges from ca. 5m – around 70m Dive sites all vertical walls are covered with beautiful gorgonian fans and soft corals. There are small caves and overhangs. there is a large group of mackerel, parrot fish and 3 bumphead napoleon wrasse. In gorgonian fans are always there hawkfishes longnose (Oxycirrhites typus).
